Features and Condition of Men's Yukata | New Men's Yukata
This is a new, ready-to-wear men's yukata made of cotton and linen shijira weave.
It's a plain item in a warm beige color (tonoko-iro) (refer to "Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten" for color reference).
The material is 85% cotton and 15% linen.
Shijira weave has a textured surface (crimp) that prevents it from clinging to the skin, making it lightweight and well-ventilated, which is why it's popular as a summer kimono.
Although it generally falls into the category of summer kimonos, it can also be worn as an unlined kimono because it is not sheer, and it is recommended to wear it as a yukata without a nagajuban during mid-summer.
It can be worn for a long period, and like cotton, it can be hand-washed or machine-washed on a gentle cycle in a laundry net, so it's sure to be a frequently worn item for everyday use!
