Tomesode
Tomesode is a formal kimono worn by women at formal occasions such as weddings, characterized by short sleeves and a patterned hem. There are two types of tomesode: black tomesode, which are worn by married women, and colored tomesode, which can be worn by both unmarried and married women; they are the most prestigious kimono. As the organizers of a wedding, it is probably easiest to imagine the mothers and relatives of the bride and groom wearing them.
