This is a yukata fabric from Chikusen.
Chikusen is a long-established Edo Komon and yukata store that has continued to utilize the unique techniques of Edo dyeing yukata since its founding in 1844 at the end of the Edo period.
Although it is a long-established yukata shop, its yukatas are somehow different from others. We believe that there are many customers who are fans of Chikusen, who are particular about the "colors of Chikusen" and the "thread (fabric)" they use.
This yukata is a very simple piece, with a navy blue background and large white plum blossoms.
The material is of course 100% cotton
It's also cute and round, so it would be great to have it tailored as a yukata for a child, paired with a pastel-colored heko obi.
If you look closely, you will see that the white plum pattern is starting to yellow slightly, but as it is an untailored item, it is perfectly usable as a reusable item.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
