Characteristics and condition of Iromuji kimonos | Used and recycled kimonos
This plain-colored kimono features a single quince crest in a circle and can be worn for a variety of occasions.
This kimono has a purple (navy blue eggplant color) background (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary) with a Genjiko pattern woven into the ground.
Depending on the obi, it can be worn for a wide range of occasions, from formal wear to casual wear and tea ceremonies.
When wearing this to a formal occasion, pair it with a gorgeous obi sash made with gold and silver threads.
If you want to wear it as a casual outfit, you can also pair it with a Nagoya obi or half-width obi with a distinctive pattern.
The lining is slightly yellowed, there is uneven dyeing on the left sleeve, and there is white dirt on the hakama, but it is still in good condition as a reused item.
