This cloth is made of 100% silk and features a very elegant Tango crepe small pattern.
The background color is a brownish purple (shiushoku) (see the definitive Japanese color dictionary). It also has a background pattern.
The small pattern is about 3 cm and is dyed with treasure motifs such as cloves, fundou (weights), hokan (treasure scrolls), makijiku (spools), and kakuremino (hidden raincoats), as well as cloisonne patterns, giving it a very elegant feel.
It would go very well with Nagoya obi and fukuro obi, of course, but also with stylish Hakata-ori half-width obi.
This item is new, but is also AB grade.
This item was rejected during manufacturer inspection.
Naturally, manufacturers have very strict standards when it comes to inspections. There are many products that you would not notice have a problem unless you were to look at them with a professional eye.
