Features and Condition of the Obijime/Obiage Set | New Obijime/Obiage Set
This obijime and obiage set is recommended for semi-formal coordinates.
The main color of the obijime is a deep navy (aisumi-chairo) that can also appear black (refer to Teihon Wa no Iroziten).
There is a patterned design on one side only, with a gradation from white to grey to blue-green.
Please tie it so that this side is on your left.
The obiage is a calm, grayish purple color.
There are subtle and very elegant areas within the woven pattern that feature a slightly pale gold thread.
Both are made of 100% silk.
Please wear this set with semi-formal kimono such as Houmongi, Tsukesage, or Iromuji.
Although it is a new-old item, there appears to be a faint brownish stain on the obijime, about 20 cm from the tassel (on the white thread section).
Additionally, small light brown stains are visible on the obiage in the center, both ends, and about 20 cm from the center.
While these are not very noticeable on either the obijime or obiage, please check the photos before purchasing.
