Features and Condition of Obijime and Obiage Set | New Obijime and Obiage Set
This obijime and obiage set is recommended for semi-formal coordination.
The marugumi (round braided) obijime, with a hand-braided cord label, is primarily a deep rose-pink color (barairo) (refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten).
It is a round braid, with one side splitting into two strands.
Since it has twisted tassels, the tassels are less likely to unravel, allowing you to use it beautifully for a long time.
The obiage is a reddish-pink color (umegasaneiro) (refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten).
It features shibori dyeing throughout, with a mustard yellow color incorporated in a cloud-like pattern.
It is very striking and has a pop impression.
It is highly recommended not only for semi-formal kimonos such as youthful homongi, tsukesage, and iromuji, but also for pairing with furisode.
Both the obijime and obiage are made of 100% silk.
