This is a round-grip obi-jime to be worn with a furisode.
It has a clean design with white flowers embroidered on a slightly creamy white (milky white) background (see the Definitive Japanese Color Dictionary).
Please tie the side with the flower embroidery on the left side.
One of the great things about this product is that the bunches are tightly packed together, so they don't fall apart.
The gold in the center of the tassel is a nice accent against the all-white obijime.
The most common obi-jime for furisode is a thin, round braided item.
This is called a "maruguke" and is made by sewing cloth into a tube shape and stuffing a core of cotton or cloth inside. It is an obijime used for formal occasions such as with bridal attire and furisode kimonos.
It can be tied loosely, creating a gentle look.
There is one area in the floral embroidery where the thread is sticking out in a loop shape.
It's not that noticeable, but please check the photos before purchasing.
Other than that, the item is in good condition overall, with no stains or dirt, and can be fully recycled.
