Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Used/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, recommended for casual outfits during the lined (awase) and unlined (hitoe) kimono seasons.
It features a stylish design with a bright gray lattice pattern on a solid, deep black background.
It is recommended for monochrome outfits, and would also look great paired with an accent obijime (obi cord) or obidome (obi clip).
The reverse side features a light, slightly muted pink hue (Mukuge-iro/rose of Sharon color (*referencing the standard Japanese Color Dictionary)) with a small woven floral pattern.
This side also has a simple, monochromatic design. It would be fun to add a pop of color with accessories.
As this is a slightly heavier piece with a wider width, it is especially recommended for taller customers.
Please enjoy wearing it with solid color kimonos, komon, or tsumugi.
On the black side, there is a section near the center where a gray thread has looped out.
Because the gray thread stands out against the black background, it is quite noticeable. Please check the photos before purchasing.
Other than this, there are no noticeable stains or dirt, and it can be enjoyed thoroughly as a recycled item.
