Features and Condition of the Half-Width Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Half-Width Obi
This is a polyester half-width obi recommended for casual outfits during the unlined (hitoe) and lined (awase) kimono seasons.
The base is a brownish color with a slight pinkish tint (tokiiro-nezuiro, a pinkish gray) (referencing the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors), featuring chrysanthemum silhouettes.
Several types of chrysanthemum flowers are woven in colors similar to the base.
The reverse side is also a pinkish gray (miyako-nezuiro) (referencing the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors), with abstract patterns that resemble four-petaled flowers arranged at equal intervals.
Both sides feature a simple, monochromatic design.
It is also recommended for enjoying accent colors with an obi clip or obi sash.
Please enjoy pairing it with solid-colored kimonos, komon, or tsumugi.
The item is in generally good condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, and can be fully enjoyed as a recycled product.
