Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba (half-width) obi recommended for casual outfits during the awase (lined) and hitoe (unlined) kimono seasons.
The warm white base (milky white) (*referencing the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors) is woven with many colorful camellia flowers in red, pink, yellow, and orange.
The design features significant solid-colored areas, giving it a clean, polished look despite the colorful motifs.
The reverse side features a bluish-purple (kikyo/bellflower color) stripe pattern (*referencing the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
The pattern is created solely through the weave, and since it is a simple single-color design, it would look lovely paired with an obi clip or obi ornament.
Please enjoy wearing it with solid-colored kimonos, komon, or tsumugi.
There is a small, faint stain on the end of the camellia-patterned side. It is not very noticeable, but please check the photos before purchasing.
Otherwise, the item is in good overall condition with no concerning stains, and can be thoroughly enjoyed as a recycled piece.
The colors in the full-length photo are the closest to reality, though they may vary slightly depending on your device.
