Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, recommended for casual outfits during the seasons for lined (awase) and unlined (hitoe) kimono.
Both sides feature a bright, soft grey tone (silver-grey, as referenced in the Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
One side is decorated with a snow crystal (yukiwa) pattern. It is designed using pale pink, cream, and purple tones, featuring patterns such as flowers resembling cherry blossoms surrounded by snow crystals, and small pairs of snow crystals.
The reverse side is scattered with a small cherry blossom pattern.
This side also uses cream and purple tones, giving it a very gentle impression.
Please enjoy pairing it with solid-colored (muji), small-patterned (komon), or tsumugi kimono.
There are dark grey stains near the front waist section and the drum area. Since these are on a plain section, they might be noticeable depending on where they fall when dressed. Please check the photos carefully before purchasing.
Additionally, the edge of the trailing end (tare-saki) is not hemmed.
It is folded over securely, so it can be worn as is without any issues, but we are noting this for your reference.
The color of the overall photo is the most accurate, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
