Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Second-hand/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a polyester han-haba (half-width) obi recommended for casual outfits during the awase (lined) and hitoe (unlined) kimono seasons.
This stylish and unique piece is from Arashiyama Yoshimura.
The brand name and material information (100% polyester) are indicated on the inside of the tail end.
The deep black background (referenced from "Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten") features an impressive design of palm-sized flowers and leaves.
The reverse side features ochre (referenced from "Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten") as the primary color.
It is designed with an alternating striped pattern in light gray.
Please enjoy pairing this with solid-colored kimonos, komon, or tsumugi.
There is a slightly large stain on the hand-end side of the black-colored surface.
Since it is located over the flower and leaf pattern, it may be less noticeable depending on the angle, but please check the photos before purchasing.
Other than that, it is in good condition and can be enjoyed fully as a recycled item.
