Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Used/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This han-haba obi is recommended for casual outfits during the lined (awase) and unlined (hitoe) kimono seasons.
The overall impression is a bright crimson tone (Tsubomi-kobai-iro / Bud Plum Blossom color) (Referenced from the Standard Japanese Color Dictionary).
Set against a red background, the gradation—featuring white, mustard accents, and a subtle hint of blue-violet—creates a bright and vibrant look.
Created using shibori (tie-dye) techniques, the design features flower-like motifs encased within diamond shapes.
Although it is a reversible obi, both sides are made of the exact same fabric.
It has a soft, supple texture.
Perhaps it was crafted from kimono fabric, as there is one seam.
Other than that, it is in excellent condition overall with no noticeable stains or blemishes, and can be fully enjoyed as a recycled item.
