Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This han-haba obi is recommended for casual outfits during the lined (awase) and unlined (hitoe) kimono seasons.
The overall impression is a bright crimson shade (tsubomi-kobai-iro, or "bud plum blossom color" according to the standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
Against a red background, the gradation—featuring white, mustard accents, and a subtle touch of blue-purple—creates a bright and vibrant look.
Created using shibori (tie-dye) techniques, the design features flower-like motifs encased within diamond shapes.
Although it is a reversible obi, both sides are made of the exact same fabric.
The item has a soft, supple texture.
It appears to have been crafted from kimono fabric, as there is one seam.
The item is in good condition overall with no noticeable stains or blemishes, and can be enjoyed thoroughly as a recycled product.
