Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Second-hand/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a han-haba (half-width) obi recommended for casual outfits during the seasons for awase (lined) and hitoe (unlined) kimono.
One side features a large checkered pattern designed with a clean, solid black section and a small black and beige checkered section.
Additionally, the solid black area is accented by an impressive design reminiscent of a stylized circle.
The reverse side is primarily a sophisticated reddish-brown (beni-ebicha color).
It features thin grey lines, giving it a very refined and understated impression.
A distinctive feature of this obi is that about 70 cm from the tip of the brown side has a pattern similar to that of the black side.
Although it is not a patchwork, it is a stylish design made by combining different fabrics to create a single surface.
The item is in good overall condition with no noticeable stains or dirt, and can be fully enjoyed as a recycled product.
