Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Second-hand/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This han-haba (half-width) obi is recommended for casual coordinates during the lined (awase) and unlined (hitoe) kimono seasons.
The base is a brownish color with a strong orange tint (Sea Otter Brown (*referencing 'Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten' [Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors])) featuring a bright beige basket-weave pattern and pink and light blue floral motifs for a very lovely impression.
On this side, about 5 cm from the end of the obi is a dark solid color, so how you choose to display this section will significantly change the impression of your obi styling.
The reverse side features a brownish color with a hint of gray (Mulberry-tinted off-white (*referencing 'Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten')) and is scattered with small floral patterns in muted shades of purple.
This is a long, reversible obi with a beautiful contrast of brown tones.
It is made with a wider width, making it especially recommended for taller customers.
