Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a thin, soft, polyester han-haba (half-width) obi, classic for yukata.
A reversible, solid-colored obi.
One side is a bluish-gray (shakujoiro - tin gray) (see *Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
Upon close inspection, it features the ocher color of the reverse side woven into a small grid pattern.
The opposite side is a deep ocher (komugiiro - wheat color) (see *Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
This is a single-layer obi, not a tubular style with a separate face and lining.
This obi features decorative tassels on both ends.
The stated length of the obi includes these tassels (approx. 8 cm x 2).
As the material is polyester, it is easy to wear without worrying too much about stains during summer festivals or casual meals.
The item is in good overall condition with no noticeable stains or blemishes, and can be thoroughly enjoyed as a recycled product.
