Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a thin, soft polyester han-haba obi, the quintessential yukata sash.
A reversible, solid-colored obi.
One side is a deep, distinct black (kuro-iro) (※Referenced from the Standard Japanese Color Dictionary).
The reverse side is a tasteful yellow shade (gold/kin-iro) (※Referenced from the Standard Japanese Color Dictionary). This is not a glittering gold made with metallic threads.
It is a single-layered obi, not a tubular style with a separate front and lining.
With two distinct, bold colors, it is sure to provide a striking look.
As the material is polyester, you can wear it to summer festivals or casual meals without worrying too much about it getting dirty.
There are some stains on the end (tesaki) and a few fold marks from where it was worn and tied, but it is still perfectly enjoyable as a recycled item.
The overall photograph is closest to the actual color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
