Characteristics and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a thin, soft, polyester han-haba obi, the quintessential yukata sash.
A reversible, solid-colored obi.
One side features a sharp, bold black as its primary color.
One end is accented with a gold band, giving it a very bright impression.
The opposite side is a deep yellow (Hachijo color) (※Referenced from "Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten" [Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors]).
It is a single-layer obi, not a tubular style with separate front and back fabrics.
Both sides feature distinct colors, which will surely make for a striking obi ensemble.
Since the material is polyester, you can wear it to summer festivals or casual meals without worrying too much about it getting dirty.
Although there are some wrinkles, there are no other noticeable stains or blemishes, and it can be enjoyed thoroughly as a recycled item.
