Features and Condition of Hanhaba Obi | Second-hand/Recycled Hanhaba Obi
This is a thin, soft polyester hanhaba obi, the quintessential "yukata obi."
A reversible, solid-colored obi.
One side is a deep, bright purple (Tsubosumire-iro) (*Referenced from Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten).
The other side is a deep, vivid yellow (Saffron-iro) (*Referenced from Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten).
It is a single-layer obi rather than a pouch-type with separate front and back fabrics.
Yellow and purple are complementary colors. The vivid, eye-catching contrast is very stylish and perfect for creating glamorous decorative knots.
Since the material is polyester, you can use it for summer festivals or casual dining without worrying too much about it getting dirty.
It is made with a wider width, so it is especially recommended for taller customers.
There are some fold wrinkles and creases from the end, but otherwise, no noticeable stains or dirt are observed, and it can be fully enjoyed as a recycled item.
