Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Used/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a classic "yukata" style han-haba obi made of thin, soft polyester.
Against a deep black background (referencing the standard Japanese Color Dictionary), it features a design of cherry blossoms and chrysanthemums arranged in circles, rendered in a deep rose shade (strawberry color; referencing the standard Japanese Color Dictionary).
It is lovely how the cherry blossoms are a vibrant rose, while the chrysanthemums have a slightly darker, blackish rose tone.
While not strictly designed to be reversible, it features the same pattern on both sides (with the intensity of the colors reversed).
This is a single-layered obi rather than a tubular construction with separate front and back fabrics.
On the side where the rose color is the background, the cherry blossom color can feel a bit too intensely black, so it is likely an obi intended to be used primarily with the black-background side facing out.
Since the material is polyester, it is easy to wear without worrying too much about stains, making it perfect for occasions like summer festivals or casual dining.
As it is made with a wider width, it is especially recommended for taller customers.
The item is in good overall condition with no noticeable stains or blemishes, and can be enjoyed thoroughly as a recycled product.
