Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a thin, soft polyester han-haba obi, the quintessential "yukata obi."
It features a variation of a plaid pattern in two bright shades of purple (Iris color (kakitsubata-iro) and reddish-flower color (beni-kake-hanairo) — *reference: Teihon Japanese Color Dictionary) with three lines of abundant glitter accents.
The contrast between the muted base color and the glitter is truly beautiful.
These glitter lines will surely add a lovely touch when tied in decorative knots.
It can be used as a reversible piece, though the pattern is the same on both sides (the light and dark aspects of the pattern are simply reversed).
It is made as a single layer of fabric rather than a bag-stitched construction with separate front and back linings.
Since it is made of polyester, you can wear it to summer festivals or casual dinners without worrying too much about it getting dirty.
