Features and Condition of the Han-haba Obi | Pre-owned/Recycled Han-haba Obi
This is a quintessential yukata obi made of thin, soft polyester material.
It features a beautiful gradient that transitions from a deep, understated reddish-purple (Futari-shizuka color) (*ref. Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten) to a lighter shade.
Cherry blossom silhouettes are scattered between the plain striped patterns.
While it could arguably be used as a reversible piece, both sides feature the same pattern.
(The depth of the color is simply inverted.)
This is a single-layered obi rather than a tubular one with separate front and back fabrics.
Since it uses a limited color palette, we highly recommend accessorizing it with an obi-dome or decorative cord.
As it is made of polyester, you can wear it to summer festivals or casual meals without worrying too much about stains.
The width is generous, making it especially recommended for taller individuals.
There is a faint crease from where it was folded in half, starting from the leading end.
Other than that, it is in overall good condition with no noticeable stains or blemishes, and it can be thoroughly enjoyed as a recycled item.
The overall photograph best represents the color, though it may appear slightly different depending on your device.
