Features and Condition of Hanhaba Obi | Used/Recycled Hanhaba Obi
This is a thin, soft polyester hanhaba obi, perfect for yukata.
It features a beautiful contrast of a distinct red (vermilion red) (※refer to Teihon Nihon no Iro Jiten) and black.
The colors are separated by a design resembling a mountain path pattern.
On the side with a Sanskrit-like logo at the obi end, there are thin, clear green and yellow lines.
These lines are not present on the opposite side.
Although it is reversible, both sides have the same pattern.
(The intensity of the pattern is reversed on each side.)
This is a single-layer obi, not a bag-like obi with a front and back fabric.
With fewer colors, it's highly recommended to accessorize it with an obi dome (obi clasp) or decorative cord.
Since it's made of polyester, you can easily use it without too much worry about getting it dirty during summer festivals or casual meals.
No noticeable stains or dirt are present, making it perfectly enjoyable as a recycled item.
The ends are firmly folded, so you can use it as is.
