This is an unsewn polyester hanhaba obi, perfect for coordinating with an iromuji (solid-colored kimono).
It features a design of small, plump manjūgiku (chrysanthemum) flowers on a subdued gold-toned background.
The lining has a design of flower petals dancing on a deep reddish-brown (benikabairo, per the Teihon Nihon no Iro Jiten (definitive dictionary of Japanese colors)) background, with gold diagonal lines also incorporated.
The wider construction makes it particularly recommended for taller customers.
Although it is an unsewn item with unhemmed edges, the edges are neatly folded, so it can be used as is.
However, since it has a very soft feel, if you prefer an obi with a crisp appearance, we recommend tailoring it with a core.
Overall, it is in good condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, making it a perfectly enjoyable recycled item.
The colors in the overall photo are the closest to the actual item, but they may vary slightly depending on your device.
