Features and Condition of Hanhaba Obi | Used/Recycled Hanhaba Obi
This polyester hanhaba obi is suitable for casual occasions, such as with komon, tsumugi, iromuji, or yukata. It features a greyish-orange (kinunezuiro, *refer to Teihon Wairo Jiten*) base with circular floral patterns and broken hemp leaf patterns. The plain areas are well-preserved, giving it a clean and refined look. The back side is adorned with many small cherry blossom silhouettes. Both sides have subdued colors, making this reversible item easy to coordinate. It is made slightly wider, making it particularly recommended for taller customers! Both the front and back surfaces have wrinkles from the te-saki (ends) to the nakamuji (center plain part) and stains on the mae-hara (front abdomen), but it is still perfectly enjoyable as a recycled item. The hemming is unravelled on one end only. There is no problem with tying it as is, but please check before purchasing. Additionally, the stitching on the longer end of the obi is slightly noticeable. You may not often see hanhaba obis with visible stitching in this area. We are noting this as some may be concerned. The overall photo best represents the color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
