Features and Condition of Hanhaba Obi | Used and Recycled Hanhaba Obi
This hanhaba obi can be used for casual occasions with komon, tsumugi, iromuji, yukata, etc.
It has a charming impression with a beige checkered pattern on a deep black background (refer to the Teihon Wairo Jiten for color names).
One pattern resembles round, cute konpeito candies, and the other, which looks like rabbit ears at first glance...
Seeing the broken dotted line, it appears to be a knot from a broken thread.
It's a playful and stylish design.
The reverse side is a slightly darker ochre.
When it peeks out from a decorative knot, the contrast with the black is very beautiful.
While it doesn't seem to be a reversible obi, the reverse side is not plain but woven with horizontal stripes, so if you really want to match with this color, it seems possible to use this side as the main one.
There are several places where the core has shifted inside, so there will be some stiff areas when touched.
