This Nishijin-ori half-width obi is perfect for casual outfits.
The eye-catching bright red (akabeniiro) (see the definitive Japanese color dictionary) is woven with a white hikida pattern, giving it a festive impression.
The Hikita pattern is arranged in a diamond shape, and the plain red area is decorated with designs of toys such as tops, battledore and shuttlecock (with a cute little dog peeking out), and balls.
This side is a bit like wearing a kimono for New Year's...

The other side has dog paw prints in white and cream on a red background.
The design is very simple, so it would be fun to play around with the obidome.
The pattern runs all the way through on both sides.
The material is 95% silk, 5% polyester and unclassified fiber (washi paper).
