Features and Condition of Fukuro Obi | Used/Recycled Fukuro Obi
This fukuro obi, crafted by Shirayone Oba, is recommended for formal occasions.
It is a gorgeous obi with phoenixes woven onto a deep orange (red-orange) background (refer to "Teihon: Dictionary of Japanese Colors").
The phoenix mark (bird emblem) on the inside of the obi's trailing edge is a registered trademark Shirayone Oba has used since its establishment, created with a phoenix motif.
Oba's characteristic features include bold designs and color schemes that catch the eye.
They continue to create unique designs, producing obis for various uses, suitable for everything from serene tea ceremonies to Tsumugi, Iromuji, Houmongi, Tomesode, and Furisode kimonos.
The mysterious charm of this obi is how well it coordinates with a Tomesode.
In addition to Tomesode, it can also be coordinated with Furisode, Houmongi, Tsukesage, Iromuji, and Komon kimonos.
Both the front and back surfaces have overall wearing wrinkles, but other than that, there are no stains or dirt, making it perfectly enjoyable as a recycled item.
