Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi

This product is a Fukuro-Obi with a Hiki-Haku pattern that is recommended for coordinating with a Furisode kimono.

The black background is woven using foil.

Hikihaku is a technique in which gold and silver foil is layered onto washi paper that has been coated with lacquer to create a pattern.

This requires advanced techniques, as the fibers are cut into hair-thin strips and then woven into fabric while being pulled, making it one of the most difficult Nishijin-ori fabrics to weave.

The pattern of phoenixes and Chinese flowers is woven using an abundance of colorful colors.

Enjoy a special day in a gorgeous furisode.

Of course, it goes perfectly with a red furisode.

It would look cool if you coordinate it with black or green tones.

There are creases from wearing from the front of the abdomen to the top of the obi, and creases overall from folding, but there are no visible stains or dirt, so it is still in good condition to be worn as a reused item.

Please check the photo before purchasing.

The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.

Please note that there is no quality label, so we cannot tell you the content percentage, etc.
