Characteristics and condition of Fukuro Obi | Used and recycled Fukuro Obi
This is a pull-foil obi that can be used for formal occasions.
The technique of hikihaku involves painting Japanese paper with lacquer or other colors, cutting the patterned paper into thin strips as thin as a hair, and weaving them into the weft.
The pattern features diamonds and flowers as the main features, giving this obi a clean look.
Please wear it with kimonos such as plain-colored kimonos, tsukesage kimonos, and homongi kimonos.
There are some wrinkles from tying the garment, but there are no stains or dirt, so it is perfectly wearable and can be reused.
The colour is closest to what you see in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.
