Features and Condition of the Iromuji
This is a solid-colored iromuji kimono in a deep green (sokokuiro - see "Standard Dictionary of Japanese Colors") with a crepe fabric texture.
It features a padded hem (fuki).
Pair it with a formal obi containing gold or silver thread for a glamorous look, or with a stylish dyed or Shoha-weave obi for a completely different atmosphere.
By simply changing the obi and accessories to suit the occasion, you can wear this piece to a variety of events, including weddings, receptions, ceremonies, lessons, and theater outings.
Although there are stains on both cuffs, the front upper panel (uwamae), the bodice lining, and the back of the right sleeve, it remains in good enough condition to be enjoyed as a recycled item. Please check the product images for details on its condition.
