Features and Condition of the Iromuji Kimono
This iromuji (solid-colored) kimono features a refined light blue hue (kinuta-seiji, as referenced in the standard dictionary of traditional Japanese colors) and a distinct bush clover (hagi) pattern woven into the fabric.
It features a single sewn-in family crest (mon). The woven design creates elegant luster and shadows depending on how the light hits the fabric.
Pair it with a formal obi featuring gold or silver threads for a glamorous look, or choose a dyed obi or sho-ha weave for a more stylish, unique impression.
Depending on the occasion—such as weddings, receptions, ceremonies, tea practice, or theater visits—you can wear it to various venues simply by changing the obi and accessories.
There is some foundation staining on both collars and spots on both sleeve cuffs, but it remains in sufficiently good condition to be used as a recycled item. Please also refer to the product images to check its condition.
