Features and Condition of the Obi-jime | New Obi-jime
This is a set consisting of a sanbu-himo (three-part cord) and an obi-dome, recommended for casual outfits.
The sanbu-himo is a creamy white (milky white) color (refer to the Teihon Japanese Color Dictionary).
It is made of 100% silk using processed craft yarn.
The tsumami-zaiku (pinched fabric) obi-dome is made in Japan (Uji, Kyoto) and measures approximately 2 cm by 6 cm.
It features a row of half-flowers made from Japanese-patterned fabric in shades of pink mixed with a hint of yellow.
The center of each flower is adorned with a faux pearl; since it has less height than other items, I believe it is a design that is easy for petite customers to use as well.
The loop on the back of the obi-dome is slightly wide, so you can also enjoy wearing it with other sanbu-himo cords you may own.
Please enjoy wearing it with kimonos such as iromuji (plain-colored), komon (fine-patterned), or tsumugi (pongee).
It would also be a great match for a yukata.
This is an unused item that still has its tags attached; there are no noticeable stains or blemishes, and it is in excellent condition overall.
It comes in a dedicated paper box, so it is also suitable as a gift.
