Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used/Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a sheer Nagoya obi recommended for casual occasions.
It features a clean design with fish and flowers arranged on a subdued, yellowish beige (ivory) ground (refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten).
The fish, which look like medaka, are very colorful.
The flowers, which look like roses, are also very beautiful.
Although colorful, the subdued tones make it easy for people of all ages to wear.
The taiko section has a particularly long pattern, but the main pattern area is a point-patterned obi with slightly added color.
This item is slightly longer, measuring over 370 cm.
Since the pattern on the front abdomen is small, customers who are petite should check carefully before purchasing.
Please coordinate with solid-colored kimonos, komon, tsumugi, etc.
There is a crease in the obi core about 10 cm from the top of the taiko, where it is folded into a triangle, towards the front end, causing a misalignment with the outer fabric.
Also, the lining of that triangular folded section has some looseness and wrinkles.
There is no problem with wearing it, but please check the photos.
Other than that, there are no noticeable stains or dirt, and it is perfectly usable as a recycled item.
The overall photo shows the closest color, but it may differ slightly depending on your device.
