Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a Ro Nagoya obi, perfect for semi-formal coordinates.
It features a plant pattern, reminiscent of lily of the valley, woven into a deep purple (komurasakiiro, or royal purple, as referenced in the Teihon Nihon no Iro Jiten) ground.
Despite the deep purple ground color, the extensive use of silver threads prevents it from appearing somber.
The pattern covers six areas (rokutsu), and the obi is unlined (hiraki-jitate), allowing for width adjustments to suit your height.
It has no core lining, resulting in a beautiful sheer quality and a soft feel.
Enjoy pairing it with iromuji (solid-colored kimonos), komon (kimonos with small repeated patterns), or light tsukesage (kimonos with attached patterns).
At over 370 cm, it is longer than typical Nagoya obis;
however, since the pattern is not limited to specific points, it is easy to enjoy regardless of your height.
There are no noticeable stains or dirt, and the item is in good condition for a recycled product.
