Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a ro (gauze weave) Nagoya obi, perfect for casual occasions. The main color is a bright, slightly subdued yellowish-green (aobudo-iro, or "blue grape color") (refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten). This is a plain obi with no patterns. Please coordinate it with iromuji (solid-color kimono), komon (small-patterned kimono), or tsumugi (pongee kimono). It is tailored in the Nagoya style, a reasonably sturdy item with a slight weight. At over 380 cm, it is a long Nagoya obi, but since it is a plain obi, you don't need to worry about the pattern placement depending on your figure. There is a small snag-like mark on the front surface, near the maehara (front stomach area), and one stain on the lining near the top of the otaiko (drum knot). Other than that, the item is generally in good condition with no noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly usable as a recycled product. The overall photograph provides the closest representation of the color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
