Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi｜Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a sheer Nagoya obi recommended for semi-formal coordinates.
It's a light-looking piece with a warm white (off-white, see "Honorable Japanese Color Dictionary") background, adorned with many butterflies and silver lines that evoke the flow of wind.
The pattern covers six-tenths of the obi (rokutsuu), and it is tailored in the Nagoya style.
This obi is very soft and drapes easily.
Please enjoy pairing it with iromuji (solid-color kimonos), komon (small-patterned kimonos), or light tsukesage (kimonos with subtle patterns).
There is a stain on the front fabric, near the pattern on the front abdomen, and wrinkles on the top of the otaiko (drum knot).
Aside from these, the item is in good overall condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly usable as a recycled item.
Additionally, there is a thread mark approximately 55 cm from the tip of the obi.
This mark is in a very convenient position for both self-dressing and dressing others, so it has been intentionally left as is.
