Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | New Nagoya Obi
A sha (gauze) Nagoya obi recommended for casual occasions.
It features a deep navy color (noukon-iro) that appears almost black (※※refer to Teibon Wa no Iro Jiten), with a Kenjo pattern designed in white.
Each motif is wide, making the Kenjo pattern clearly visible.
This is a new Honba Chikuzen Hakata-ori obi.
Material: 100% silk.
The remaining fabric is also included, so the certification paper is still intact.
It is tailored in a Matsuba style and is longer than a standard Nagoya obi.
Please coordinate it with iromuji (solid-colored kimono), komon (small-patterned kimono), tsumugi (pongee silk kimono), etc.
Although new, there is a faint white diagonal line that looks like a scuff mark in one spot below the taiko (drum knot), approximately 50 cm from the tare-saki (tip of the hanging part).
This part will likely be hidden when worn, but please check the photos before purchasing.
