Nagoya Obi Features & Condition | Used & Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a Ro-Nagoya obi recommended for casual occasions.
It has a gentle impression with a pattern created by blue and pale green gradients.
The base of the pattern is a modified Ichimatsu (checkered) pattern.
Each Ichimatsu square contains a different pattern, making it a very elaborate item.
The pattern extends to six panels (rokutsu) and is open-stitched.
It is a relatively light item with beautiful sheerness.
Please coordinate it with Iromuji (solid color kimono), Komon (small-patterned kimono), Tsumugi (pongee silk kimono), etc.
On the outer fabric's tare-saki (hanging end) section, there is a part where some of the weft threads are dark ocher.
Also, on the lining's otaiko-ura (back of the drum knot) section, there is a similar dark ocher part. Please check the photos.
Other than that, the item is in good overall condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, and is perfectly usable as a recycled item.
