Nagoya Obi Features and Condition | Used/Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a sheer Nagoya obi, perfect for casual occasions.
It's a refreshing summer obi with a crisp, clear impression, featuring a bright, pale cream base adorned with beautifully vibrant green autumn leaves.
The pattern is a point design, with the same green autumn leaf pattern on the stomach area as on the taiko drum part.
It is tailored in the Nagoya style, and is a bit stiff.
It is a light obi with good crispness.
Please coordinate it with iromuji, komon, tsumugi, etc.
On the outer fabric, the fold lines are clearly visible on the tesaki and in the plain central area.
Also, faint brown stains are visible on the outer fabric's tesaki, the upper part of the taiko pattern, the back of the taiko, the tare, and on the lining around the back of the taiko.
While it could be considered an item with many stains, the cream color of the ground fabric is similar to the color of the stains, so they may not be very noticeable.
Other than that, there are no noticeable stains, and it is perfectly usable as a recycled item.
The overall photograph shows the closest color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
