Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a sheer Nagoya obi recommended for semi-formal coordinates.
Woven into the dull, bright, slightly greenish brown (karakane-iro) (※Refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten) ground is a waterside scene with people pulling a boat.
It has a sheer texture, allowing the white core to show through, which gives it a refreshing and light impression.
The pattern is placed at key points, with only the boat on the water woven into the front part.
It is tailored in the Nagoya style, making it a light obi.
Enjoy pairing it with iromuji (solid-colored kimono), komon (small-patterned kimono), or light tsukesage (kimono with attached patterns).
There is a stain on the obi core of the front belly part, a wrinkle directly above the taiko pattern, and two small snags that look like slight catches.
On the lining, there are some wrinkles in the taiko pattern area.
Other than that, there are no other noticeable stains or dirt, and it is perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
The colors are most accurately represented in the overall photo, but may vary slightly depending on your device.
