Nagoya Obi Features and Condition | Used & Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a sheer Nagoya obi recommended for semi-formalコーディネートs.
A summer obi with silver leaves and red and silver floral patterns woven into a black base.
Its sheer texture with a visible white core gives it a refreshing and light impression despite the black base.
The pattern covers six areas (rokutsu), giving it an elegant feel.
It is an open-front tailored obi, and feels a bit heavy.
Please enjoy pairing it with iromuji (solid-colored kimonos), komon (small-patterned kimonos), or light tsukesage (visiting kimonos).
There is a brown stain near the front abdomen and on the reverse side of the taiko (drum part).
Additionally, there are signs of wear around the waist on both the outer and inner fabric.
There is a faint, overall yellowing on the white parts of the lining, from the hand-end to the front abdomen area.
Other than that, there are no particularly noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
