Nagoya Obi Features and Condition | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This is a sheer Nagoya obi, recommended for casual occasions.
It features a bright beige base with a dark red pattern resembling a lion dance design woven into it.
The pattern covers six sections (rokutsu) and it is tailored in the matsuba style.
While there are some slight creases from being worn folded in half, the width can be adjusted to your height.
There are some yellowed areas on the plain section, but this is due to the natural texture of the fabric itself. (Not a stain or defect.)
Please coordinate this obi with iromuji (solid-color kimonos), komon (small-pattern kimonos), tsumugi (pongee kimonos), etc.
In addition to the aforementioned creases on the body part, there is some fraying on the folded-back section of the taiko (drum) part.
Other than that, the item is in good overall condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly usable as a recycled item.
The colors in the full photo are the closest representation, but they may vary slightly depending on your device.
