Characteristics and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This ro-weave Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
The main color is a warm white (off-white) (as referenced in the definitive "Wairo Jiten" (Japanese Color Dictionary)).
It is a beautiful sheer summer obi.
On the left side, there is an asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern. On the right side, there is a design resembling a double helix in a subdued red color.
The pattern extends over six sections (rokutsu), and it is tailored in the matsuba style. It has a moderate crispness.
The otaiko part is intentionally left unsewn in a tunnel style (natsu-kagari), creating a stylish and cool impression.
Please coordinate it with iromuji (plain colored kimono), komon (small patterned kimono), or tsumugi (pongee kimono).
There are scattered light brown stains from the te-saki (front end) to the tare-saki (back end), but they are not very noticeable due to the ground color and the ro-weave texture.
Also, it has a slightly dusty smell. Please be aware if you are sensitive to scents.
It is a product that can be fully used as a recycled item.
The colors in the overall photo are the closest, but they may vary slightly depending on your device.
