Characteristics and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for semi-formal coordination. The bright golden ground features a pattern reminiscent of ice cracks, giving it a dynamic design even though it's a single color. The accent pattern seems to be a design of a cord, with colorful lines forming soft curves. The front abdominal section is plain, allowing for more enjoyment with color play through accessories like obi-jime and obi-age. It is tailored in the Nagoya style, with a rather firm fabric that feels substantial. Please coordinate it with iromuji (solid-colored kimonos), komon (small-patterned kimonos), or light tsukesage (kimonos with attached patterns). This item has several minor flaws. There is a faint "no" shaped stain at the point where the te-saki (hand end) switches to plain fabric. There are stains and scuffs on the plain area before the front abdominal section. There is a seam mark around 60 cm from the te-saki, as if the fabric was extended. Additionally, there are stains on the lining of the tare-saki (hanging end). While there are many points to note, each individual flaw is not very noticeable. Please check the photos before purchasing. It is perfectly wearable as a recycled item. The overall photo is the closest representation of the color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
