Nagoya Obi Features and Condition | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for semi-formal coordinates.
The pale pink (sakurairo) (※refer to Teihon Wa no Iro Jiten) ground, woven with silver threads, has an elegant and beautiful shimmer.
The accent patterns are floral motifs.
The design is symmetrical, like images reflected in a kaleidoscope.
Overall, it's beautifully coordinated in shades of pink.
The front belly section also features a floral pattern with the same ambiance as the taiko knot. Here, part of the birds flying around are accented with a stylish mint green.
It is a Nagoya-仕立て (tailored in Nagoya style), slightly heavy, and made of a relatively firm fabric.
Please coordinate it with iromuji (plain colored kimono), komon (small patterned kimono), tsumugi (pongee kimono), or light tsukesage (visiting wear kimono).
There are dressing wrinkles from the hand-end to the plain section in the middle, and above the taiko pattern.
Additionally, there is some fabric damage, like a snag, near the front belly area.

Other than that, the item is in generally good condition, with no noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly wearable as a recycled item.
