Features and Condition of Nagoya Obi | Used and Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for semi-formal coordination.
It features an impressive black abstract pattern on a bright gold background (refer to Teihon Nihon no Iro Jiten for color reference).
The lining is a chic vermilion, which makes a wonderful accent when it peeks out.
The front belly section offers two patterns to enjoy, as the atmosphere changes depending on how it's wrapped.
The pattern covers six areas of the obi (rokutsu) and is tailored in the Nagoya style.
The fabric is rather firm and the obi has a bit of weight to it.
Please coordinate it with iromuji (solid color kimono), komon (small patterned kimono), or lighter tsukesage (kimono with continuous patterns).
There is one small stain on the plain central part and some loose threads and scuffs near the top of the taiko (drum knot), but otherwise, there are no noticeable stains or dirt, making it perfectly usable as a recycled item.
The overall photograph provides the closest representation of the color, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
