Nagoya Obi Features and Condition | Used/Recycled Nagoya Obi
This Nagoya obi is recommended for casual occasions.
It features a charming design of mandarin ducks in soft colors on a bright denim-like blue ground (tono-chairo) (refer to the Definitive Dictionary of Japanese Colors).
This is a partial pattern Nagoya obi with seven mandarin ducks on the taiko drum section.
The front belly section has a different pattern orientation, depicting mandarin ducks floating on the water.
It is made in the Nagoya style, and both the front belly and taiko drum sections have slightly longer patterns, making it an easy Nagoya obi for kimono beginners to try.
Please coordinate it with iromuji, komon, tsumugi, etc.
Overall, there are several storage wrinkles.
Also, there is a small light brown stain behind the mandarin duck on the front belly.
On the lining of the tare (hanging part), there is a slightly yellowish stained area, possibly a double fold and a stain.
Other than that, there are no noticeable stains or dirt, and it is perfectly usable as a recycled item.
The color is closest in the overall photo, but it may vary slightly depending on your device.
